About
Silent Failure is built around one idea: the dangerous state is not the red one. It is the one that looks fine because nothing was measured.
Most monitoring answers “is anything on fire”. That is a useful question, and it has a blind spot: a host that stopped reporting, a scan that never ran, a pool that could not be read. All three look like silence, and silence looks like health.
So every surface here draws three things apart: it is fine, it is broken, and we do not know. The third has no colour and its own symbol, because a guess that looks like a verdict is worse than no verdict.
Who makes it
Silent Failure is the product. ZiiX is the company that owns and builds it. If you are looking for an invoice, a contract or a company registration number, that is ZiiX; if you are looking for the thing that watches your servers, that is Silent Failure.
